Call for Scientific Abstracts
The NJOS Annual Spring Symposium will be held on
Friday, May 8, 2026

Winning presentation and poster will each receive:
5th Annual Vin McInerney Resident Award
at the 57th Annual Mid Atlantic Residents Complication and Research Conference Presentations
certificate and $500
​
Abstracts are due by April 15, 2026.
​
There will be two types of presentations again this year:

Poster Session: All types of submissions – clinical, research or basic science – are encouraged. Participation by residents and fellows with member sponsorship are encouraged. Limited to 2 submissions per Residency Program. One will be chosen to be presented as a poster at the meeting.

Case Presentation: Members are requested to submit interesting and educational cases for audience participation and discussion. Case material with pertinent laboratory and radiological data should be submitted by the above deadline. Limited to 2 submissions per Residency Program. One will be chosen to present at the meeting for critique and discussion.
Submissions should be sent by email to the society offices at: rachel@amg101.com
Cases and research will be judged by the Board of Directors prior to the event and top submissions will be asked to present at the event on May 8th.
All submissions are required to provide an electronic presentation with case and results for final judging and discussion with members at the event on May 8th.
Finalist presenters will be responsible to provide the society with their presentation in advance of the meeting, to minimize audiovisual delays.
